Enable macro

I am trying to activate a macro in excel 2007. How to I establish a trusted
publisher so that the macro will be enabled? Is getting a publisher set up
what I need to do to activate the macro?

I don't have a direct answer to you question but keep in mind if the workbook
is protected macros don't work at all no matter what.
