enable auto disconnect with dial up connection

My home computer has WinXP Home Edition with SP1 fully patched. The dial up
connection used to automatically disconnect when I closed IE. I disabled the
auto disconnect because it would disconnect while Windows Update was
downloading large files. I cannot figure out how to re-enable the auto
disconnect for my normal internet use. Any help is appreciated.

See "No Disconnect Prompt When Quitting Internet Explorer"

Thank you. I must not have used the right keywords when searching the KB.
I'll give this a try.

Thank you. I thought I had looked at all the tabs in the various dial up
properties and internet options boxes, but I must have missed this.
