Empty Inbox View

The problem is that the inbox view is empty, but the inbox properties say 91
emails and 16 unread. The view settings are all set to show all messages.
All other folders are ok - including subfolders of the inbox.

I've seen other posts saying that the AV software could be causing the
problem. McAfee was installed, now it's AVG.

Any suggestions?

You might run this addition to the cleanup from McAfee:

Also, if you used the standard install for AVG, you may need
to uninstall it, then do a custom install that tells it to leave out
the part that scans email.
