.eml stationery will not open in Windows mail

I have no problem with this until today. When I have a letter with an .eml
extension all that I see is a lengthly page of unknown html.
 
Save the attachment to disk and then rename it from eml to mht and then open
it (in IE) and see if you can read it that way.

Otherwise its probably malformed and that's why you see the HTML coding.
