When forwarding emails with attachments, my recipients tell me that they
cannot open the attachments because of the .eml extension. They apparently
are not using Vista. Is there a way to change the extension for those items I
want to forward. I have tried replacing the extension, but can't make it work
so far. I don't want to have to revert to my laptop (XP) to do this if I can
help it.

Now that Windows email has decided the format for layout for me that I do
not like, OE was easier and better, how do I get my other identities to show
up so I can access them ?

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am attaching various (all inbound) email attachments that formerly
were no problem to forward. My recipients (not all) are telling me they can't
open the attachments. I have yet to hear from them re: using Vista or not.
Would using Outlook vs Window mail make a difference? I know you say that the
program should not make a difference, and I agree, but I never have had this
issue until using Vista/Windows Mail.

Don't use "Forward as attachment". Use the plain Forward.
I am surprised, though, that any email program would have trouble
opening .eml attachments. What email program are these people using?

They can save them and rename them to mht from eml and then they will open
in IE.
