Embedding a logo etc into each message sent

I am trying to have our company logo and info appear each time I send an
email. I have inserted the info as a picture in signatures but when sent it
appears as an attachment rather than on the mail itself. Please can someone
tell me what I am doing wrong before I have a breakdown?

Thanks Brian, I'm sorry to appear thick but I don't get the Advanded option.
I am in Outlook 2007 is that a different process to the one you gave me.
