Embedded Objects from Excel

Hello all,

I have a Word file with embedded objects from Excel. Somehow, the link of
the embedded objects gets broken from time to time. When that happens, I
have to relink them.

Is there a way to make the link not to be broken?

Hi Souny,

The link will invariably break if the absolute path to the Excel file changes (eg you rename a folder in the filepath or you move
the Excel file to a different folder).

Hi Souny,

If the Word and Excel files are kept in the same folder, you can use a macro to update the path to point to whatever the current
