Embedded file supported in Outlook

I am considering switching from Outlook Express to Outlook and want to
know if embedded .gif's, .jpg's and .mid's are supported in messages
for viewing and forwarding as they are in OE. I am aware that attached
picture files must be opened separately in Outlook.

Viewing embedded is supported even playing embeeded midi's. You can't create
mails with embedded midi's though. Creating mails with embedded gifs/jpegs
is possible as well.
