Emails showing other content

All of the sudden, all the emails, that I saved in the folders I created in
Windows Mail, show the wrong email content. e.g. clicking to open an email
wit title of "Happy new year!", instead, it opens the content of "Summer
vacation"... This happens to every email in the folder. I have created a
total of 9 folders and among them, 3 show the same result.

I searched other threads but couldn't find the solution.
Can anyone help?

There is is a good possibility that this problem could be due to
interference from your antivirus program. Windows Mail is not
compatible with most McAfee or Norton security programs. Those
will need to be uninstalled.
Then, at your convenience, install a more compatible antivirus
like the free Avast:

Thank you, Gary for your quick posting!
But no antivirus program is in My PC because this is about 4 months old and
I deleted preinstalled McAfee after trial preiod expired a month ago.

I had the exact same problem, and I'm using IMAP, so whatever it is it's
pretty broad minded. I also have Avast on the machine, but all email
scanning turned off. The only way I could fix this was to delete the
entire account and set it up again from scratch. Being IMAP I didn't
loose any emails that way, but if you're using POP I'm not sure how to
get around it. Gary night be able to help. In the end I gor so fed up
with it I dumped Mail altogether and found that my good old faithful
Eudora works just sweetly on Vista. Good luck.

I trust that "deleted" means you used the uninstall procedure for McAfee.
Assuming there are no McAfee remnants left to gum up the works, it
is difficult to say what other culprit could be causing your problem.

My advice would be to upgrade to Windows Live Mail, and hope that
it is able to find and import the uncorrupted versions of your saved emails.
