Emails Containing Music/Pictures

I'm trying to send an email that contains music and picture as the
background. The music is a song I downloaded from I-tunes and the picture
came as a sample picture on my laptop. I scanned the music and picture with
AVG and the laptop is a Inspiron 1501. When I try to send I get an error
message that the picture cannot be located and gives me the option to send
anyway. When I open the email of course the picture is not there but the
music doesn't play either. What causing the picture and music not to show on
the recipient's end. PLEASE HELP..

In order for Windows Mail to successfully send attachments, the
files representing those attachments must not be open elsewhere.
