I have Outlook Express ver.6.0 on a Dell 2350 for more
than 6 monyhs and all of a sudden I cannot delete my
email messages. When I press delete, the screen stays the
same but the message also appears in the "deleted"
folder. How do I get rid of the unwanted emails?

Is this only the Inbox or can't you delete from otherfolders, either?
Move all of the messages from the Inbox to user created folders in OE.
Click File | Work Offline and then click File | Folder | Compact All.
Leave the computer alone until it finishes.
