Accessing Email Addresses

when I try to link to an email address in an email message I get an error
message that the default Email is not properly installed. Any suggestions?
 
Go to Control Panel | Default Programs and set the default mail program
there. You may also need to choose to "associate a file type or protocol
with a specific program". Choose that and then page down to the Protocols
and choose MailTo protocol and set it to Windows Mail.
