Email won't send again!

I have Vista with Windows Mail. I am unable to send emails out. I just moved
and switched from DSL to RoadRunner. I never had this trouble with my DSL
connection. I was able to send for the first couple of days then it just
stopped working. I can still recieve email and surf the web just fine. When
I called Roadrunner, the verified my email account settings and referred me
to Microsoft who, in turn, referred me to Gateway since my copy of Vista
came preinstalled on my computer. Gateway referred me back to RoadRunner
saying it sounded like a server problem. RoadRunner then told me it was a
Windows Mail issue and hung up on me. Then all of the sudden it sent my
emails out without me making any changes on my end. It worked fine for a few
days and now stopped sending again. Keeping in mind that I never had this
issue with my old ISP, I am thinking that it is a RoadRunner issue. I am
tempted to buy an email program that will work in Vista, since my Outlook
2002 isn't supported. Any ideas before I dump a ton of money on software
just to find that it really is a server issue?

What happens if you disable your AV incoming and outgoing email scanning. Also disable your Anti Spam filtering for email

It is extremely rare for that type of problem to be server issue.

Which antivirus program are you running? Read
http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and take appropriate
action.
Any error message when you try to send? if so, copy it and
post it here. Are the non-sent messages accumulating in your
Outbox? Check the Outbox for a 'stuck' ghost message.

Microsoft has decided to make everything previously obsolete for Vista you
can run OE in Vista but with very limited options. Like some links may not
work from emails etc. They want you to buy "NEW" MS programs. The old finger
pointing game, Bill Gates wants back in your wallet.

Another $600.00 for a Office program I already own, pfft!

Cheers!
