Email Virus?

When I send email to people they say they get another email from me that is
all letter and symbol. I have scanned for virus and found nothing. What could
be wrong. My mail is also going out really slow. Help Please?

These are the symptoms of a virus. Which virus scanning programs (note: I
intentionally mean more than one) have you used?
