email signature

I have Windows XP Home edition and have recently downloaded Windows Live Mail
and it is linked with my hotmail account and I have an email signature that I
use with my hotmail account but it isn't showing up in my Live mail and when
I go to fix it everything is greyed out in the Live mail. How do I fix this?
