Trying to set up Outlook as my email client. Web host
administrator has been helping; they can't find problem.
____________

After making my settings, this is the msg I get:
"Send test email msg: The specified server was found
but there was no response from the server. Please
verify that the port and SSL information is correct."

Server Port Numbers are now set to:
Incoming server (POP3): 110
Outgoing server (SMTP): 25

_______________

Task 'balkcom - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your
server administrator or Internet service provider
(ISP).'

Hope you can help me. My domain is balkcom.net and my
email address is (e-mail address removed) . My web mail works
ok; just can't seem to get Outlook settings right. I am
using DSL connection to internet.

Thanx,
Brian

Does this still happen when you disable your firewall and and the outgoing
message scan from your virusscanner? Don't forget to enable it again after
troubleshooting!

Huh? I don't know what you are talking about. Firewalls,
virusscanners, enabling "it"? I need some step by step
help. Help!?

You are running those aren't you? If not you should. I can't give you
directions for this as it depends on the software you are using. See the
documentation of your software for that or see if your ISP can talk you
through it.
