email resolution settings, some images do not show

with windows xp using outlook 2007 some emails graphics seem to show, however
embeded photos in emails do not...I get the boxes with that small red X
inside...text appear in the ox but not the photos...is there a setting in
outlook that needs to be changed? thank you
