I have a form that I created in Word that I want to send via email not as an
attachment but directly in the email. I want the recipient to complete the
form and reply back to me. I used the "send to" in Word to send to mail
recipient and the form looks perfect but when I send the email to the
recipient, the forms formatting gets all messed up. The form contains tables
and their positioning gets all messed up. Is there a way to send a form via
email without losing the formatting. I tried sending as HTML and also rich
text but had the same problem when I opened the email. I am using Word 2003.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards,

Dee

What you want to do is not supported. Your best bet is to send the Word document as an attachment.

You could try saving the document as Web Page (html) and see if that looks
any better.

That would still depend on the receiving end as well. If you want to go this
way make sure all your forms are Plain Text friendly as well.

Neither a saved web page nor a plain text message is going to meet the original poster's need for a highly formatted form that the recipient can return and send intact.

I know, it was more a responds to DLW only and not the OP ;-)
