I'm trying to set up a email acount but don't know what my imap server is or
my stmp name is or how to find these?
need help........

Who provides your email service? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider.

I noticed you posted with a lvnworth.com email address. Assuming
that is your ISP and mail service provider, follow these directions"
http://www.lvnworth.com/system_settings/windowsmailforVista.htm

When I send a e-mail I get this error meassae that I pasted below. Can you
advise me how to fix this. Thank you...Steve

The host 'smtp' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Subject 'e-mail info', Account: 'imap', Server: 'smtp', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

You need to enter the correct server names.
"smtp" and "imap" are incorrect.

Who provides your email account?
