Hello,
I am new to this site but need an answer to a mess I may
have gotten myself into. I was trying to fix a password
problem and ended up not being able to even open my email
account. I know I went in and tried to change some
security but I can't remember where I went nor can I even
get there from Outlook since I can't get into it! I know
how to use my basic email and internet sites but I am not a
pro at trouble shooting and I seem to have proven that by
messing up my system. Is there a number I can call to work
this problem out or is there anyone out there who can help
me? Thanks

Pat

Try to go in START --> CONTROL PANEL --> MAIL and there
you will have the possibility to modify your account
settings.

I tried that but can not find an answer there either. I
think it has to do with the security set up I changed. I
was trying to change the security setting because anyone in
my family can read my emails because I can not find a
totally private password request. The emails that have
been read can be read by others without the password. To
read new mail the password must be entered but I have not
been able to change that at all and I know how to go into
change password etc. to do it but nothing works to keep
others out. So I keep trying to fix the problem and this
is the result. I will call my local network provider as
well. Thanks for the attempt to help. I need to go into
security settings somehow and can't seem to be able to do
that without going into my email that I can not get into
either. ???????

Hello Pat,

Due to the troubleshooting that would be involved in this type of an issue,
you would want to give Microsoft Product Support Services a call. Here is
a webpage that will explain all of your options -
