Email POP3 address

I have Windows Vista, but use Google email. How do I set this as my default?
When I have tried setting it up, it requests the email server's POP3
address, which I do not know. Does anyone know how this should be typed in?
 
Go to your gmail inbox.
Look at the top of your browser and hit "Settings"

Then find "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" and click on that.

You need to enable POP on this screen first. Then there is a link to
"Configuration Instructions"
That will tell you what you need to do.
