Pop3 and SMTP

I'd like to know how to set up a pop3 server acct or whatever it's called so
I can send and receive email through Outlook. Yahoo is my email service
provider but I don't know the process of setting up either the pop3 or the
smtp. Can anyone help me with this?

If it's a free yahoo.com account, then you can't.

Free US yahoo accounts do not support POP/SMTP. It won't work.

You have to either use a 3rd party tool like YPOP, or pay Yahoo for the
"premium" service, which does have POP/SMTP support.
