Can anybody recommend simple and good email notifier for win XP (POP3,
Yahoo), which run in background and check for emails, and notify once I have
the new email messages in mailboxes plus allows Automatic Mailbox Logon. But
NOT download incoming messages, just notify and automatic logon.

It will notify you when new emails arrive on the mail server, is that
not what you want? You can use or not use it's other features.

yes, but I wanted just simple and small utility, since additional features
requires additional size, etc
I checked out this program, the MailWasher Free 6.51 (8.7MB) Too big, for
my opinion, for just email notifying function.

Thank you.

I just downloaded a freeware program called "Pop Tray" from http://www.poptray.com
It works great, I think it will do everything you want it to.

Hi,
Does it support Yahoo?(Yahoo use some nonstandard webmail protocol, not
pop3)
Canno find from program description.

Hi
The program was written originally for POP3 Email accounts only, the
good news is that it allows the use of plugins that are written by
other people and one of the available plugins is for IMAP4 accounts
like GMail, Hotmail & presumably Yahoo Mail.
You can check that out youself from this link and click on plugins.

Have a great day!

Do you use Messenger (official)? If so Messenger Plus! lets you configure up
to 5 accounts and set it to a particular program, website or none.

No agreement with Patchou to advertise, BTW.
