email not arriving

I am not receiving a particular correspondent's email until two or three days
after it has been sent. He does not have it marked for delay in outlook, it
does appear in his sent items box, the outlook send/recieve animated icon
appears when he presses send.

Same company? You are using Outlook, too? What version? Does he get an
NDR at all? Does it go to your junk email folder? Have you confirmed the
address (I know... an obvious one)?

If it makes it to sent items, we can probably assume it has left his email
client.
 
Thanks for the clarifying questions. We work for the same company (he is at
a remote location). We both use the same version of Outlook (11.8xxxxx SP2).
No NDR (nondeliverable) and the mail is not going to the junk folder. I
went to his location to verify the address.

A big difference is that he is using a different ISP because of his location
(SpeedNet wireless), while I use Medicom. About 100 yards from his location
is another individual that also uses wireless (SpeedNet), whose
correspondence behaves correctly.
