Hello. Hope someone can help with this.
Up until 2 days ago I could click "Go To Mail" on the yahoo email
notification or click on the little white envelope icon on
the task bar notifying of new email.or click on 'Check mail' in the Yahoo
messenger to get to my Yahoo web mail,
Now it comes up with this error:
-This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.-
The same thing goes for the Yahoo Help/F1.
I went to Folder Options, Files, but wasn't sure what to do next.
Using XP. have turned off McAfee firewall but no difference.
I've reinstalled Yahoo messenger too.
Thanks
J

'Reset Web Settings' in Internet Options Programs tab might help. If not, try this fix:

Set Internet Explorer as default browser:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IE_Default_Browser.reg
(Assumes IE is in c:\program files\internet explorer path)

Sorry about that..uhum. I've composed myself now. .
Thing is I tried everything and posted everywhere and no one knew.
Can you please tell me why that came about in the first place?
And should I keep that link incase it happens again?
Thanks
J
