email keeps resending

When I send an email it gets sent multiple times. It is
as if the computer does not think that it went thru. Any
advice? This does not happen all the time, but is
frequent.

do you have a virus scanner?
sometimes they cause problems.....
try disabling it and see what happens.

I do have Norton AntiVirus, but this program has always
been on(2years) when Outlook was running and the problem
has only appeared about 2 months ago.
