Email in Outlook 2007

When I access Windows Mail to read newsgroups I sometimes receive emails in
Windows Mail, despite my selection of Outlook 2007 as my email program. The
emails received in Windows Mail are then not accessible in Outlook 2007
(Vista) which is my primary program for email. This never happened in
Windows 2003 which I ran in Windows XP. Any way to correct this and prevent
email from being forwarded to Windows Mail?

By not having any mail accounts configured?
Or by setting WinMail not to check for mail?

You can allways export from winmail to OL, any msgs

How do I set Win Mail not to check for mail? When configuring Win Mail for
newsgroups the setup requires incoming and outgoing information for Pop
mail.

On your account properties, uncheck the option to have it check for mail.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
