Outlook 2007 statas bar

I usto use Windows Mail in Vista. Now im using Windows 7 Windows mail is not
there so im using Outlook 2007. Windows mail usto show how many new emails
were just recived at the bottom right, outlook 2007 does not show this. Is
there a way i can get it to show?

Unread e-mail count is displayed in parentheses adjacent to the Inbox.

I know that bob but i have emails going into serval diff. foldersand i leave
soem as unread if i need to go back to them.
