Email gibberish

Client has Outlook 03 on a Vista machine with SP1. Problem appeared before
SP1. Emails to his BlackBerry are always fine. But about once a day he gets
one that looks like this:

I inserted those dots for brevity, but you get the idea. I've done a detect
and repair...would reinstall but am afraid some setting would hang on. Not
even sure if it's an Outlook problem or the product of some other setting in
the computer. The emails are fine on his BlackBerry, and appear normal on
the web mail interface of the POP3 server.

Am I missing some setting or is there something else going on here. It is
set for Western European (ISO), but I believe that setting only affects
outgoing emails.

Check the View>Encoding setting in the message itself and change it to a diff
setting and see if that helps.

There is a problem with Outlook 2003 on Vista when receiving a message via
Bcc that will cause Outlook to show you the raw message data instead of
rendering it. Perhaps that's what's happening here.

Thanks for the reply Brian, but he's seen this result when I just send him
one straight from me to him.
