Image not included in New Message - Outlook 2003

I opened a New HTML message. I chose Insert | Picture | From file.. | (Image appeared 128KB) | Send.

The image does not appear. The code in the email is
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;

font-family:Arial'><img width=637 height=933 id="_x0000_i1025"

src="cid:[email protected]"><o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

But the image does not appear in the received message. Only a place holder. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

Seems this is a bug in HTML messages using Word as the editor. I did what Microsoft suggested by changing in the Contact to NOT let Outlook 2003 decide on the fomating and send using Rich Text. That didn't work either. In fact that did nothing at all. The message was still sent in Word format.

So I changed the sending format to Rich Text before I sent the message after I inserted the image while in HTML format. Only before sending I changed to Rich Text format and sent it. That worked.
