email error messages

Whenever I try to send an email, whether it's a new message, a reply, or a
forward, I get error messages. The errors are 0x8004210B and 0x800CCC0B. The
emails are not sitting in my Outbox, and I've gotten feedback that emails
I've sent once are being received five or six times by friends (who are
getting kind of fed up!).

How can this be resolved?

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.
