Email data transfer from OL2000 to WinLiveMail

All the email data created by OL2000 on Win2000 in the old PC need to be
transferred to Win Live Mail on WinXP in the new PC. But both OE6 and
WinLiveMail in the new PC say "Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI
client". How can I copy all email data from the old to the new machine?
Although the data can be copied from OL2000 to OE in the old PC, the Export
procedure of OE simply recreates the data in OL2000, ie doubling every entity.

You can only copy Outlook data to Outlook. Once you do, you can export to
OE.
Why would you ever use Export _from_ OE to do this? That makes no sense at
all unless you completely misstated what you are trying to do.

Export it from Outlook to OE on the old machine. Transport the OE data to
the new machine and import it into WLM there.

Thank you very much, Brian Tillman and Roady(MVP). When all the .dbx data
were imported into a new PC, they were stored in Documents and
Settings>...>Outlook Express. But all the data appear in the Storage
Folder>Local Folders of WinLiveMail screen, not in the active account folder
in the new PC. When I tried to move them, an error message said 'A folder
cannot be moved from one server to another.'
How can I overcome this problem?
