email copies

Hi,
I seem to download duplicate copies of emails every now and then. Why might
that be?
I am using OL 2003 with pop3 accounts. Only sometimes do I get 2 of each
email but it does seem to happen quite regularly.
Any thoughts appreciated.

I use Symantec Corporate for my AV and I also have Zone Alarm installed.
