how do you make access send a automatic email witout any prmpts to warn you
that its happening and without opening thunderbird or outlook? it would also
be really good if i could set the from address too. thanks very much

thanks, that was very helpful but im still keen to have the from address set
in the email. i want to email to look like it come from a particular account
for the sake of their reply. thanks

Set that account up on the computer you are sending from. It is totally
insecure to allow emailing from an account other than the user of the
computer. IOW, I can't without hacking into your machine, send an email as
you. Nor can I masquerade as you from my machine. I can set you up an
account on my machine, log into that profile and send email.
