Email attachments in Outlook 2p003

I send an Excel spreadsheet to a friend as an attachment without checking the
read only box . When she receives it, it has changed to read-only. She just
wants to alter it and send it back but she is made to save it as something
else and then send it back. How can I send it so that she just alters it and
returns it without doing anything else?

It's not you. It's her. Tell her for follow this sequence:

1) Open (not preview) the message.

2) Open the attachment.

3) Make changes to the file.

4) Save and close the file.

5) Save the message.

6) Forward the message and type in your address.
