email attachment viewing problems

When trying to view received email attachments I get the
message,

"OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in
your mail. .....exe,example.pdf etc"

Never had this problem before. Is this a security setting
I need to change in windows XP?
or is this a ISP setting for junk mail filtering?
Using Outlook express to view emails.

You are right it's just a securty setting in OE (outlook
express). Do this:
- Open the OE and click on Tools/Options/Security
- Uncheck "Do not allow attachments saved or opened..."
that should take care of the problem.
