email and MSN Messenger

A while back everytime I received an email I get the email alerts and when I click on the
'1 new email message' in the main interface window in MSN Messenger. The problem
is after I click it and read the email message, it still says I have 1 new email message.
I really don't. The only way to correct this is to sign out and sign back into MSN Messenger.

The problem has seemed to be corrected. I don't remember doing anything but maybe a
upgrade. Did this fix itself or was it something I did

Well... I'm glad I don't have that problem anymore

This was a server problem on Microsoft's side and has been fixed -- this is why it appeared
to just "fix itself".

Hi Sam,

Not that I'm aware of, unfortunately in the past when Messenger's had specific issues
affecting just a group of people, it really hasn't been written anywhere either.
