Hi
Got my other problem sorted with junk email but how or what do I do to hide
my address. I don't understand what I must do to come here and keep it
secret, any help would be great, Thank you. Another thing how come I still
get some emails coming through using my old email address. I thought once
you have changed it they can only use your new email address. I am sure
loads of people must do the same as me as I have not heard of hiding (however
you do that) email address. Hope you can explain in easy to follow steps
please, waiting for your reply.

Look in the Tools or Options are of whatever you use to read MAILs with.
Where you e-mail address is listed, change it to something safe like
(e-mail address removed).
I assume you are GLO@...?

In Outlook Express, go to Tools, Accounts, the Mail tab, and select the mail
account. Click on Properties and change the address there. If it fails to
work after that, you might have to go back in and add some authentication
settings but usually that's not necessary.

Your e-mail client still has the settings to download emails from your old
ISP and the old ISP simply has not yet removed your old account. Many do
that in order to make the transitions easier; you can then tell those folk
to change the address they use. Some ISPs do such cleanups on a schedule
only so until a certain date, you could technically continue to get mails
there.
Once when I switched, I could send/receive emails at the old account for
the rest of that month and then for the next couple of months could only
receive and couldn't send, and eventually it all went away and OE gave me
error messages when it tried to check that account. Then I knew to remove
the old accounts from my outlook express in order to get rid of those error
messages.
Your current ISP cannot and does not control who/where you send or
receive e-mail from. In my case I have a web site and never use the e-mail
my ISP provides for me, although it's there if I ever want it.
