eliminating toolbar in IE

I have a search toolbar that has appeared at the bottom
of my screen in internet explorer that I can't remove. I
have tried everything to get rid of it and wondered if
anybody can help me. Thanks

Try downloading spybot at

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

then running it. that should clean up the mess you have

I have already run spybot and Adaware but the toolbar is
still there. Help!

If it's just a toolbar and not part of an adware/spyware bundle, Toolbar Cop
should remove it. Download Toolbar Cop from
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/Toolkit.htm

If unsuccessful with Toolbar Cop, post back with more information, like the
name of the toolbar.
