Eliminate Need for Login

I have a home computer that completely crashed and wouldn't reboot back up,
just a black screen. Booted up with my Windows XP Home CD and had to do a
reinstall. Since then, when I turn on the computer I get the big blue login
screen and I have to click on my name (the only name listed). I'm the only
user so don't see a need to login. How can I get rid of the login
requirement?

Bob;
Start/Run
Type "control userpasswords2" ENTER
Uncheck "Users must enter..."
Click OK and follow prompts.

When I do as you say I get an Automatic Log On window as shown in
http://home.comcast.net/~eng95/Login.JPG. If I click cancel and restart I
get an error message and still have to log in. If I put my name and
password in the Automatic Log On window I get error message and still have
to login. What should I do on the Automatic Log On window?

Bob;
Are you also confirming the password in the 3rd block?
The name of the account must match exactly.
From the image, you should type "Robert Weber" in the top block.
The 2nd & 3rd blocks below need to have a password and both boxes must be
identical.
