eliminate dail up

I have windows XP. I keep getting a request for a dail up
connection to the internet when I only use broadband
access. This is preventing me from accessing internet. Any
help greatly appreciated.

Dines to dollars says you have a dialer program (spyware) that has installed
itself on your system. Any of these can help:

Adaware www.lavasoft.de
Spyware Blaster: www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
Spybot www.safer-networking.org
