The Old Timer

I will be looking at getting yet another new hard drive, a large one for
video editing. Looking at the local websites I now see that in addition to
SCSI & SATA ones thay now have ones labelled EIDE. I know that I can use
SATA ones with my motherboard. Would these EIDE ones also work?
 
EIDE is not new; it's been around for years. To get the laest and fastest go
with SATA.
