missing hard drive

i have a slight problem i cannot seem to solve

i cannot find my hard drive within windows xp pro
my current configuration is
2 x 160gb SATA hard drive (main booting drives)
eide primary: cdwriter(master) and dvd reader(slave)
eide secondary: Samsung 160gb eide hdd(master) Sont DVD writer (slave)
windows recognises all but the samsung

the bios recognises the drive no problem
and windows device manager recognises it also no problem

the problem is that it does not appear in 'my computer'

any suggestions

this is the third time this week I have aanswered this problem. xp does not
incorporate new hard drives automatically into its system like earlier
versions did. right click on my computer, choose manage. choose disk
managment. choose rescan disks from the action menu. problem should be
solved then
