editing online

I've been editing my site online with IE and wonder if there's a way to save
the editions to my hard drive? Would be ideal to have a hard copy backup.
Thanks, luckyhpd

I don't understand "I've been editing my site online with IE".

How can one edit a site with IE?
You can of course View Source and edit that, but it will be a temporary copy

If you use Frontpage, you can edit the site online and then publish to your
hard disk

I think the op means opening the web by clicking on Edit With Frontpage on
the IE toolbar...with is not a good way to open the web for editing.

What I mean to say is that I open the site online the in internet explorer
click the front page icon and commence to make changes to the text which I
then save. That accomplishes effecting the changes... what I want to do is
then save my editions to the hard drive or other safe place. How did I
publish to the hard disk? Thanks for this help by the way. luckyhpd

Create a new folder on your hard drive - say C:\myweb
Open the website as normal, then use File->Publish Site
Browse to the folder you just created
Click Publish.
