Editing and adding a line into a template already made?

How can I add a line or edit a line into an already made template with
drop-down lists in a Word Document?

Try this:

On the Forms toolbar (View : Toolbars : Forms) click the 'little yellow
padlock'; this should unprotect the form. Do your editing, then click the
'padlock' again to re-protect the form (the drop-down lists etc only work
when the form is protected).
