edit copy and edit paste wont work in Windows Explorer

After cleaning up from a virus attack the edit copy and edit paste
function wont work in windows explorers. I cant restore files in
recycle bin either (i.e. can't move files from one folder to the next.
drag and drop won't work either)

Have necesscary registry entries been removed or replaced by the
virus? How can I restore original Microsoft registry entries to fix
this?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem but with no previous virus. Copy and paste
won't work. The message is that the format isn't compatible with office
clipboard. I notice you were told to reinstall explorer. Did this work for
you?
