Is there any way to change or remove the date printed in headings, without
removing the file name heading?

I assume you are printing a table or a query.
Tables and queries are not designed for printing, so no there is no
way to remove the date without also removing the rest of the heading
(by changing the Top margin to 0").

Create a report, laid out however you wish. Print that.

This sounds like an Excel question...(change your page setup)

If it is for an Access Report you should be able to open the report in
design view and then simply modify the footer as required.
