Earthquake

It was reported that there was an earthquake at 2.8 on the Richter Scale at 06.00 today in Teesside and North Yorkshire. There were no injuries and no obvious damage but some people were woken by it and someone, surprisingly, had "a door open on them."

I heard nothing, my house is still standing and I certainly didn't feel the earth move.

Funnily enough, I swore that I felt one yesterday morning in Manchester - enough that I messaged a mate that lived nearby to ask if she felt it!

Cleveland Police said it had received about 15 reports of the earthquake, with officers called out to several different areas.

I wonder why people called the police about a mild earthquake?! To the extent that they were called out .
