E-mailing from within a form

In my customer database the customer file has an e-mail address if I double
click the address I want to bring up my e-mail and send that customer an
e-mail. Is there a way to do that seeing I'm using yahoo as my e-mail
provider. I thinking about setting this up in my application and how would I
do that not knowing what e-mail provider the customer is using? Thanks for
all the help I get from you.

There's lots of information on e-mailing and I have it working in my
application but it only seems to work with outlook or outlook express. My
clients us may different e-mail providers, is there a way to tell my program
to use the clients provider.

I thought that using "mailto:" would use the default email client on the PC.
Perhaps someone can confirm that?
