I have an in-home netork. How can I e-mail from one

So you're thinking that you should be able to use an e-mail program to
send to an address that does not have an Internet domain name?

Errr... what you really want to do is send a message over your LAN
(not send e-mail). Do a Google search for a string like "sending
messages" and "LAN" in the same string.

You'll need at least an SMTP server on the machine where you want to receive
mail and you'll need to know its IP address in order for the sending machine
to be able to find it.
